Continue your exploration by encountering chimpanzees in their natural habitat at Kibale National Park. Experience the raw power and beauty of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge, and visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to spot endangered rhinos up close. Immerse yourself in the local culture with a scenic tea tour in Mabale, followed by a deep dive into Uganda’s coffee heritage with an authentic coffee tour. This carefully crafted itinerary promises an incredible mix of wildlife, natural beauty, and cultural discovery.

Day 1 Arrival at Entebbe International Airport: Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, located on the shores of Lake Victoria.
Optional Activities: If time permits, visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens, where you can see a variety of plants, birds, and maybe even some monkeys. Alternatively, take a short trip to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre to learn about the country's fauna.

Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park: Early in the morning, your journey begins as you head towards Murchison Falls National Park (about 5-6 hours by road). Along the way, enjoy a scenic drive through rural Uganda and stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a chance to track and see rhinos.
Arrive in Murchison Falls: Murchison Falls is Uganda's largest national park, known for its magnificent waterfall and diverse wildlife.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Morning Boat Cruise on the Nile River: Start your day with a boat trip along the Nile River, heading towards the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species.
Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls: After the boat ride, take a short but exhilarating hike to the top of the falls for stunning views of the river's powerful flow through a narrow gorge.
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the park’s savanna and woodland, where you can encounter lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes.
Overnight: Red chill rest camp
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park via mabale tea growers/factory.
Drive to Kibale National Park: After breakfast, start your journey to Kibale National Park (approximately 7-8 hours). Kibale is one of Uganda's premier parks for primates, including chimpanzees. One a way we will stop kyenjojo town for hot lunch and after lunch we will depart to Mabale tea grower’s factory where you come to learn more about to growing and processing in that factory and in plantations. Thereafter we will driver to kibale national park to your hotel.
Overnight: Kibale forest camp or Lake Nkuruba nature reserve
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park and coffee tour in the evening

Morning Chimpanzee Tracking: After breakfast, head to the park for a chimpanzee trek. Kibale is home to one of the highest densities of primates in Africa, and during the trek, you’ll also see other primates like red-tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. After tracking, return to the hotel for hot lunch and rest a bit.
In the evening you will go for coffee experience
Uganda is well known for its rich and colorful coffee, one of the best in the world, a coffee tour in /Uganda offers impassive experience showcasing the processes from Garden to cup. On this day after chimpanzee tracking you will visit a coffee cooperative farm in kasesenda area known for its high quality for its Arabic coffee. during your visit you’ll learn about sustainable farming practices, and how coffee is processed using traditional methods.
You will enjoy a fresh brewed cup of coffee made from beans grown in the farm.
Learn about the challenges faced by the coffee farmers including the impact of climate changes and pests and how they are working towards sustainability.

Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park: After breakfast, embark on a 2-3-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most famous park. Known for its diverse ecosystems, it offers a variety of wildlife experiences, including the famous Ishasha Tree- Climbing Lions.
Overnight: Engiri game lodge or Tembo safari lodge
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning Game Drive: Head out for an early morning game drive in the park. Look out for the Lions, leorpads, hyenas in kasesenyi palin for queen Elizabeth sector. You’ll also encounter elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species.
Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel: After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is teeming with wildlife, and you’ll have an opportunity to see large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: After breakfast, embark on the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which will take around 4-5 hours. Bwindi is the home of the Mountain Gorillas and one of the most sought-after trekking destinations.
Overnight: Buhoma community campsite or Nsongi lodge
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Trekking: This is the highlight of your Uganda trip! After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla trek. Depending on the group, this trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, but the effort is always worth it. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Optional: If time permits, you can also visit the Buhoma Community Village to learn about the local culture and conservation efforts.
Overnight: Buhoma community campsite or Nsongi lodge
Day 10: Bwindi to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for golden monkey trekking
Drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park: After breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (approximately 2-3 hours). Mgahinga is smaller but equally beautiful, with a unique combination of volcanic landscapes and wildlife.
Overnight: Mondi lodge
Day 11: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga

Golden Monkey Tracking: Today, you will track Golden Monkeys, another fascinating species found in Mgahinga. The monkeys live in the forested slopes of the volcanoes, and the trek offers a more relaxed alternative to gorilla trekking.
Optional Activities: After the trek, you can choose to hike one of the Virunga volcanoes, like Sabinyo Volcano, or visit the Batwa community to learn about the indigenous people who once lived in the forest.
Overnight: Amajambere iwacu community camp or Mondi lodge
Day 12: Mgahinga national park to Lake Bunyonyi

Drive to Lake Bunyonyi: After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi (approximately 3-4 hours). Known for its stunning scenery and tranquil environment, Lake Bunyonyi is often referred to as "the place of many little birds."
Boat Ride on Lake Bunyonyi: In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on the lake, visiting some of the 29 islands and learning about the local communities.
Overnight: Stay at Bunyonyi Overland Resort or Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort.
Day 13: Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala capital city of Uganda.
After delicious breakfast, you will start your journey back to
kampala capital city or Rwanda Kigali. Cross the equator and have a quick picnic lunch and enjoy photo shoots and videos then proceed to kampala capital city of Uganda
Overnight: Safari in Hotel in kampala.
Day 14 Explore Kampala (city Tour)
​
This tour will take you six hours and offers an in-depth introduction to
everything you would want to know about Kampala and Uganda’s history, culture and traditions.
We visit all the sites of the short tour and a taxi park (a symbol of Africa’s energy if there ever was one) and the Buganda palace, which contains Idi Amin’s torture chambers. You also taste one of Uganda’s signature snacks, like a rolex or Kabalagala (Ugandan pancake, it is gluten- free!).
While the tour is six hours, we take breaks along the way to allow for resting and browsing of the various attractions. If you want to get a truly deep feeling for Kampala and its people, the Long tour is the way to go then after the tour will driver straight to Entebbe international airport to catch your flight back home.
